ABOUT
I am an artist with a passion to explore beautiful wild places and share about the wonder of nature through my work.
Sometimes this looks like staring at maps and planning hikes with my husband & kids and sharing our passion and tips with others.
In day-to-day life this passion turns into paintings of landscapes I love to explore or illustrating stories that I tell to my children. More recently, I also started creating nature inspired silver jewellery.

I grew up in Lithuania and came to Edinburgh to study. After a MA in English Literature & German and a MSc by Research I got married and stayed here. Before having kids I worked for a while at the University of Edinburgh doing jobs that focused on the organisational and admin tasks that help courses run smoothly.

As a daughter of a photographer I learned my way around the camera and Photoshop (and similar software) pretty early on. I learned to keep my eyes open for the beautiful and unusual. This joy of exploration and capturing a glimpse of that beauty to share with others has stayed with me for years.
When I came to Scotland this turned into a drive to explore all the new and exciting places. Soon enough me and the guy who turned into my husband were spending most weekends adventuring outdoors and climbing every hill we could get to.
Once we had children the focus shifted to helping them to discover the joy of the outdoors too.
I love nature and sharing the joy of it with the responsibility to care for it has become one of my passions. I hope that one day I might be able to publish a book that would help more families to get hiking and exploring together.

I am one of those people who have always been keen on drawing, dreaming up stories, and intent on writing some books one day!
In my teenage years and in my 20s this manifested itself in the exploration of the fantastic. Paintings of dragons, unicorns, kelpies, griffins, and ladies in long flowing dresses filled up many pages…Then Covid came and I also had my first child. The challenges I was facing turned my mind to the landscapes I longed to explore again. Pages and canvases filled with landscape paintings of the beautiful Scottish Highlands!
I also started doing some commissions and selling some of my art - prints, cards, bookmarks, coasters. In addition to this I created a line of encouraging Christian prints and cards that I sell at the FM Bookshop in Edinburgh.
My current focus is connecting all the dots and getting involved with children’s book illustration and writing.

In the winter of 2025 I did a Silver Clay Workshop which quickly turned into another creative output and I quickly gathered up lots of related skills.
Carefully hand-crafting silver jewellery has become a bit like cross-training to my usual artistic practice. It keeps me from burning out and brings the mind of a landscape artist and nature lover to a very different medium.I create unique pieces inspired by the local landscapes and animals. They are slowly and sustainably made in Scotland with great love, care, and high quality materials. A rebellion against the over-production and over-consumption that is so common in this market!
LET’S WORK TOGETHER.
